When and how did you meet and fall in love?
We met in college at Vanderbilt! We were friendly all four years until our senior year when we saw each other at a party and spent all night dancing together.
Where did you/your partner propose?
At a bookstore wine bar in SoHo NYC called Biblioteque!
How did you/your partner pop the question? Tell us the story!
I’m a book editor, so he hid the ring on the shelf behind the first book I ever edited. The book isn’t out yet, so when I saw it on the shelf, he took it down and the ring was hiding behind it. It turned out he had closed the bar for us and our family and friends were watching. Our families had flown in from Venezuela, London, Denver, Nashville and our friends came from San Francisco, London, Minnesota, Boston, Nashville and beyond!
